Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera is able to capture highly-detailed images of the teeth and gums that allow our team to examine the mouth much more closely than ever before. With it, we can spot potential decay, damage, and infections as early as possible, plus we can easily keep a patient in the loop when it comes to their dental care. By going over the images alongside their dentist, a patient gains a better understanding of their oral health and needs, which can easily help them avoid future issues.

3D Cone Beam Imaging

A typical dental X-ray is excellent for looking at one part of the mouth, but sometimes, we need to see all of a patient’s teeth in a single image. That’s when we like to use 3D cone beam imaging, which basically allows us to take a CAT scan of only a patient’s mouth. This type of image reveals much more detail compared to a regular X-ray, and we frequently use it when planning more involved procedures like dental implant placement. With it, we can ensure a successful treatment as well as a fast and comfortable recovery.

All-Digital X-Rays

Most of your teeth are actually hidden by your gum line, so in order to find any potential cavities or infections that might be beyond what we can see with the naked eye, we use X-rays every single day in our dental office. Since upgrading to fully digital X-rays, we’ve made this essential part of our exams much faster and more effective. They take much less time to develop crystal-clear images compared to regular film X-rays, and even better, the entire process emits 90% less radiation as well!

Digital Impression System

To consistently provide restorations that fit perfectly and veneers that look red-carpet-ready, we take an impression of our patients’ teeth so we have a working model of their smile. This allows us to better personalize a treatment, and thankfully, this entire process has now been digitized. Gone is the messy and odd-tasting dental putty! Now, we simply scan a patient’s mouth, and within a few minutes, we have an extremely accurate digital impression that gives us all the information we need.

Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry has advanced by leaps and bounds in the past few years, enabling our team to use these small, handheld instruments for a wide variety of services. Now, we can quickly and painlessly treat gum disease, fix cavities, perform root canals, whiten teeth, and even treat sleep apnea and snoring with a laser. Compared to traditional methods, lasers are much less invasive and more precise, which leads to better results as well as a faster recovery regardless of the treatment.

The Wand™

The Wand system

No one likes the idea of having to get a shot at the dentist, but this is often the most effective way to administer local anesthetic to ensure a procedure is entirely painless. Thankfully, we now have a way to make this part of a procedure stress-free as well. With The Wand™, a topical anesthetic is applied to the area first, and once a patient is numb, the rest is administered very slowly and evenly. This approach means a patient basically feels nothing right before they feel nothing!
